 five poems

1

you will not
your soul is just not okay
echo echo
with the cat
wuffing its belly
partly folded wing of a dog-faced bat
crisp and careful
bloodthirsty type
nursed with milk
done as the heads are rolled

2

the glowworms of your mind
being purified through your own energy field
their snails, putrefied potato weight
drop every last of them
mallet, mullard
spirit belly diddly dug dug
leaned over and grabbed the corner of the world

3

oh spirit animal
do not be convinced
that the bones were removed
slipped into the ol' stripper pattern
half tone speed top
throw it on a live fire
never stop to worry
can not it wait

4

of guns
and actual footage
of orange juiciers
and stop shovin
stay in line
this is a pay station
he tied the newt in a knot
the next night, rapid digestion

5

a few announcements
reviewing technical elegance
blunder bender cracked out their gender
and all the kings horses and all the kings men
experienced an influx of gland secretion
between their toe-claws
